Raw Materials: The Path to Sustainability

In the first of these 60-minute discussions, we’ll look at some of the ways producers are working to ensure all raw materials, from cane and grain to yeast, wood and botanicals, are sourced ethically, considerately and sustainably. We’ll explore some of the key areas that contribute to more sustainable sourcing practices, such as traceability, ethical collaborations with suppliers, repurposing and recycling and modern farming practices. Becky Paskin, Founder of OurWhisky Foundation and award-winning spirits communicator, will be hosting the session and joined by speakers from brands such as The Oxford Artisan Distillery, Arbikie Distillery, Two Drifters Rum and Starward Whisky.
